Feel great and Look great- thats what fashion is all about

This summer its all about getting Bolder…
RED, CORAL ROSE, GREEN, BLUE, YELLOW, SHOCKING PINK and SILVER PEONY (NUDE) are the colours of this season.

Summer trends 2011The fashion shows are burning hot with striking colours, bold prints, bold cuts, rock influences and Far East-inspired designs. Here and there streaks of 1970’s could be seen in those bold patterns and striking colours.

Bold coral colour 2011Seems the fashionista’s got inspired from Zeenat Aman of Dum maro Dum and Saira Bano of Purab aur Paschim to get this retro look.

With Restyle in fashion, Going back to seventy’s and taking your bold colours and satin materials out your wardrobe would be great news for restylers and reusers. Yes, now you can use that old Coral Rose coat of yours over a sexy red tshirt and get bolder…;)

This new orange of Zeenat is ruling the fashion Industry…bold colour makeup - fashion trends - fashion show 2011

bold colour red- fashion 2011 - trends

Bold colours are generally used as single colour or with a shade lighter/darker with it. Whereas minimization of jewellery done to emphasize the bold colour effect is quite appealing. Even the make up is going bolder with Red Luscious lips, and bright eye make-ups.

Red colour needs a lot of caution; it can give you a great sensuous make-over as well as can make you all the way Vulgar if not taken care. It’s a risky colour. But whats fun without risk??? Seems our Fashion bugs are out to take risks this summer. Oscars were full of Red lips and now this bold colour rules Indian Fashion Industry too…

We  have seen our Oscar Celebrities walk down the red-carpet with bold single coloured gowns and minimum amount of dazzling jewellery (preferably square cut diamonds), high toe-peeps of bold colour (mostly matching the colour of thier dress) to give a classy sober look and accentuated their Lips with a bold colour (shades of red obviously). The red lips are so attractive and eye-catching that the overall look has to be tuned down in order to make it look perfect and classy.

Check out Hollywood Hotties in Reddish Hue, shades of pink and silver Pheony…

Claire Danes in Calvin Klein Collection, Julianne Moore in Lanvin, Natalie Portman in Viktor&Rolf and Emma Stone also in Calvin Klein. The long-sleeved sequin-adorned gowns of 1970’s were striking…

Versace also threw lots of bold colours in its latest show..

Now you can check out Indian Fashion Industry going bold…

We all saw our Bollywood’s upcoming Diva’s Sonakshi Sinha and Genilia D’souza in Bold Green and Blue Gowns…

Streak of boldness touched the Lakme Fashion Week as well….

While preeti Kapoor sticks to Red and shades of Red for her bridal collection at Lakme Fashion Week.

Sabah Khan and Sabyasachi go out and try the multi coloured look.

Satya Paul didn’t stay behind in the race of Multi-coloured saree by donning attractive multicoloured saree on Mandira Bedi…

Abhisek Byas also uses the combo of Blue, red, black and all those bold colours one can imagine…

Manish Arora made a mark at his first ever Lakme fashion week show with bold colours, abstract shapes and unique contemporary designs.

Single coloured Jump-suits also make a mark this summer.

This summer it seems will be out of white…..

we shall get to see more of Reds, Browns, Turquoise, Greens… and feel refreshing as ever…

So gals … Don a summer dress, cute Jacket, big coral beads necklace, coral orange headband or cotton scarf – and add a dose of bold colour to your wardrobe. I personally love this Bold colours…;)
